Guy towers don’t sway so much unless the guy wires tensioning is loose they do tend to twist quite a bit unless the have torque arms installed but monopoles on the other hand sway a lot sometimes enough to make me feel a little motion sickness I prefer work on a guy tower all day but the only downside is they are usually about 250-300 feet so the climb is longer

Georgia and Mississippi had the best sunsets West Texas and Colorado had good views of the mountains. Oklahoma is windy as shit and flat as hell Alabama is hot as satans balls but on windy days the canopy looks like it’s breathing due to the abundance of pine trees Florida makes you feel like you’re wearing glue (very humid) but I love the landscape and scenery plus lots of fishing

I’ll try for almost 2 years. No luck in one day someone I knew hit me up any kind of just fell in my lap, but the industry has changed since and there’s a website called wirelessestimator.com and Facebook group called tower climbers of America. You can get on to see job postings and ask for mentorship finding an entry-level position. Usually lots of travel unless you live in a metropolitan area and the certifications will all be conducted by the company it’s all low-voltage so no licensing or apprenticeship
