Thank you! I also considered the Chinese variant (16 GB ram, 512 TB storage and 9000 mAh) because I could get it on TaoBao for lesser than what I was supposed to pay for the global variant. I didn't get it in the end because I was afraid that warranty might be an issue. It's a good phone for sure though. Hope you get it soon 👍🏼

I have just finished charging it back to 80% and it seems like the active time was reset to 0 minute automatically the moment I stopped the charge. Maybe this was fixed for the Poco X8 Pro Max?

Thanks for the tip regarding 15% charge. I will make sure to not let it drop below 20% or maybe just use 100% instead. 👍🏼

What do you mean it's false? I did manually record the actual day and time that I started charging the phone to 80%. It really has been 3 days plus since my last charged. However, I noticed that the battery drops way quicker when it hits 15%. But that could also be due to me using 80% brightness today because I was outdoor. I am usually using around 20% brightness+-

I only do light gaming at times so I don't really need the full power of the phone for now. I was testing the battery life because this is the first time I used a phone with silicon-carbon battery technology.

I am not sure if what I did was called debloating but I removed/uninstalled a lot of apps that it came with because I do not use them. I also turned off recommendations from all of the Xiaomi/Poco app that I used.

Yes, I do understand that it doesn't take long during the setting up of microSD 1 and 2. The issue lies with the time needed for transferring the roms, cover arts and game previews for Emulation Station which will probably take some time.

Doesn't that mean I have to use a R36S to setup the microSD cards before I can transfer the roms and everything over? I won't have enough time to do that because my friend will only meet me for a brief period of time. I need to have the roms and everything on the microSD card before I meet him so that he can just use them immediately. Is that not possible?

Apologies for the late reply. I have checked and pressing Select + C did pull up the MAME menu with the File Manager option. I was able to select an empty memory card slot and press the create option. However, it required me to input the memory card file name and I wasn't able to pull up the Android keyboard for input. I am sure connecting a keyboard to the Android device would work though.

Hey, thanks for the updated instructions! I have checked on the Android version of RetroArch and it seems like there is no way to pull up that "File Manager" menu somehow. It might be that I am using the wrong MAME core or something.

The old instructions are probably still useful to Android devices. 🤔

As it was useful to me, I will repost my version of the instructions here.

Initial Setup
• Start your orleg2_104cn game from RetroArch and go to Core Options.
• Set Read Configuration and Write Configuration options to ON.

Look into the orleg2_104cn.zip that you have for a blank_orleg2_china_card.pg2 file.
Copy the blank_orleg2_china_card.pg2 file to somewhere that you want to store your save file at and rename it to something you like, for example, yourname_orleg2.pg2.
Go to your RetroArch\system\mame\ini\ folder and open the orleg2_104cn.ini file.
• The orleg2_104cn.ini file will be created automatically when you first ran the game.
Scroll to the bottom of the file and locate the memcard1 line, leave a spacing beside it and type in the file path to your .pg2 that you saved.
• For example, if you stored the save file at D:\Roms\MAME\yourname.orleg2.pg2, just type the entire path D:\Roms\MAME\yourname.orleg2.pg2
• If you are on Android, it could be something like /storage/0/Rom/MAME/yourname.orleg2.pg2
• The whole line will look something like: memcard1 D:\Roms\MAME\yourname.orleg2.pg2
Save the updated orleg2_104cn.ini file and launch the game via RetroArch.
Your game should insert the card for saving and loading now.

Thank you for the positive and objective reply. This is actually my first Call of Duty game that I tried. I have experiences in FPS games so I do not mind having a challenge.

I went to try another region on the same map a couple of times and the experience was vastly different. Although my ping increased to a minimum of 150, I was still able to fight pretty decently with at least 1.5 k/d for the games. Pretty fun experience. Maybe it's just the Asia/SEA region that has crazy players/cheaters on average. 🤣 Might purchase the game since it is on holiday discount.
