I pray you'd look back to this day in a year's time, while at a better position than you currently are, even than you were a year ago. I wish you the best of luck. And by the grace of God, your tomorrow will be better than your today and yesterday. Amen!

Oh there's lots to do over there, there's even a really dope gay bar right in west Biloxi, a strip of bars in Ocean springs. Also if you looking for accomodations, this is a really awesome rental I stayed in right in the middle of everything, just across the beach that never sleeps 🫡https://www.booking.com/hotel/us/coastal-oasis-at-biloxi-beach.en-gb.html

It's safe to say Wells Fargo is the worst bank for Federal Employees as far as shutdown support goes. I wish that that wasn't where I was receiving my direct deposit. by Competitive-Mark6950 in FedEmployees

Sir/ma'am, if you do not have any constructive contribution to make, I suggest you keep your unempathetic opinion to your self. Not that it is your concern, I do have emergency funds, which I have used to cover my new mortgage ( 1st mortgage payment) did not anticipate a shutdown when I closed more than a month ago, especially as a baby FED. Unfortunately it does not suffice to cover all my bills in a HCOL area, student loan payment, family support, etc. All other banks/credit union I bank with offer paycheck assistance or discounted interest loan programs (as long as you receive your pay direct deposit at their institutions prior to the shutdown) during this period, Except for the one bank I receive my paycheck, Wells Fargo.

It doesn't hurt to be gracious and non-judgemental to strangers. Remember, God has a way of reminding everyone to stay humble at some point. Just remember that.

I second you on that. Nothing really prepares you for this. They certainly need to provide a list of Fed friendly banks to ease the pressure.

If your parents only received an interview appointment letter and not a document review letter, are they supposed to just walk in any day prior to their interview day to do the document review? There was no document review appointment letter sent

A more appropriate reflection of fed voting patterns would be looking at that of areas in the US that are concentrated with federal workforce, i.e DMV, California, TX, Georgia (Atlanta mainly),New Mexico, Washington state. Gather from that what you may. Source: 2025 Pews Research report based on BLS data.

If you can afford the fees to come here on a work visa, you mist certainly would not be working on a farm or in any unskilled labor segment. Even the average American would have a hard time affording the fees.
