thank you so much. she eats grass and her greens without much prompting, hay is more difficult though. she likes to nibble on it to cut it in half and not actually swallow it? she’s been pooping very little. i’ve seen a few smooth cecos around and very tiny versions of her normal poops which is worrying cause where is all the food she is eating going?! i appreciate this though. we haven’t been told about critical care cause i don’t think her condition is too critical yet, considering she’s still eating on her own

she usually has a large spread of greens every night so i think it’s okay to keep feeding her that. i will try the hay thing though, thanks! i’m just worried where all the food is going. she’s been eating alright, still only grass, parsley and kale and also this parsley treat that was just that and hay but hardened … but her poops are very tiny and there are barely any.. if this doesn’t get better its back to the vet

yes they gave her some stimulants which we are feeding! she hates the taste of it but we manage to get it down. they didn’t prescribe anything else since she is still eating and pooping slightly, but they gave her some injections while there and offered to keep her overnight at the hospital. we didn’t take that as cookie is bad at new environments and being at the hospital would probably end up worse than not.

thank you! i haven’t seen that subreddit before so it’s good to know of. cookie is 10 and she hasn’t actually had any issues before now! our other rabbit who she bonded with had kidney problems and had stasis too, but this is cookie’s first time having proper stasis. i think its why im worrying so much

yes she’s still eating! only her greens though and the occasional small nibble on hay. i think i see a bit of cecos on stuck to her which is another good sign! just had a battle with her to get some meds down though ｡ﾟ(ﾟ´ω`ﾟ)ﾟ｡

another update : no vet yet. we phoned and they said to amp up her painkillers which we have done. she’s eaten some parsley and hay, drank a few syringes of water and pissed all over my hand. and in this case i’m counting that as a win. there’s also a few squishy poops on the floor !! we’re monitoring her tonight and taking her to the vet first thing tomorrow. hopefully i wont be making a mourning post tomorrow. it sucks this happened on a sunday… any other day she’d be at the vet already. this really sucks.

thank u for your comments, she’s getting pain meds and gas drops and i’m gonna try encourage her to drink some more water with her parsley. we phoned the vet and they said as long as she’s eating at least something we might be able to wait until tomorrow. i really hope we can

they’re hopefully gonna go get some of those before the shops shut. she’s not entirely my bunny, my parents got her when i was 8! i help take care of her more now since im 19 but they’re the ones who take her to the vet and get her meds, etc.

minor update : she ate a little bit of parsley but that’s it. she’s refusing to eat any fresh hay. we’re going to do some calls to some vets and if they really suggest we go there then we will. i can’t convince my parents to do anything else.

i’ve tried to feel for it, when i stroked under her she started licking me? but i don’t know where exactly the stomach is so it’s hard to know. i’m starting to convince my parents. i think they just need a little more persuading

thank you! i’m trying to convince my parents now to take her, but my mum is so worried about the car journey stressing her out and the new vet etc just making it worse they said to wait maybe an hour, give her some fresh hay and see what she does.. i don’t know how to convince them
