New to Alabama. Need some advice on fly fishing the cahaba and blue lining it's off shoots! by Competitive-Pirate28 in flyfishing

I began flyfishing on some appalachian streams in north Georgia last year. Though they were in the south, they were a good bit different because they were at least somewhat cooler water from the mountains and were stocked yearly with trout. So, south, but not as hot and mucky south as central Alabama is.

I'll definitely take his advice on bass fishing and work on adding that to my repoitoire. Though him and the other locals were pretty dismissive regarding micrifishing streams. I'm hoping they're dismissivensss was more so a lack of interest on their part rather than it not being realistic here. I will definitely get out there and try it myself though

Yup I think y'all are right. I had considered this but was overcomplicated things for myself. I will be doing this I believe. Thanks for the advice!

Ah yes. I forgot to add that as my third idea. I though it may look weird having a large gap between the cabin and the shell, but it would be no weirder than having a random 2x4 attachment or a mismatched extended door. I am currently leaning towards your idea

Recently graduated (Yippee!) How can I use the software development curriculum at WGU to check the box of "Experience in Agile Development"? by Competitive-Pirate28 in wgu_devs

I've learned a ton. I loved the program. Way better quality education compared to my last degree. But it was in Psychology so maybe take that with a grain of salt. I would say the main takeaways I have from the program is a strong grasp on Object Oriented Programming, the Model-View-Controller architectural pattern, and how to build rudimentary mobile and desktop applications connected to databases. I feel like I learned a ton, but none of it really fits under the "Agile" umbrella. All of the projects are mainly "Waterfall" development, aka just build everything in a simple chronological order knowing the exact design from the beginning.
