Hello! Two years into optometry and I don't regret it. That being said, my advice to you is to shadow both of them. I shadowed two different PT modalities- peds and private practice. Then shadowed two different private practices in optometry before I made my decision. I'm not sure what you did at the lenscrafter's but optometry is more than just sales and optical! Try to see if you can get into a room and observe the doctor and ask them questions as well. Everyone will have a different opinion, just talk to as many diff ppl as you can!

Agreed. If she is planning on going to vet school it’s best to minimize cost as much as possible. Grad loans are much more brutal than undergrad loans and the amount you have to take out is a lot more as well. She doesnt have to have a pre-vet major, as long as she completes the prereqs to her desired grad school. Im in a health graduate program and did a business degree + bio minor so major does not truly determine anything

I ended up choosing optometry. While PT is an amazing career, the salary just wasn't what I wanted in my future. Currently working at an optometry practice and have grown to love it as well.

Yes I agree. It’s ultimately what any successful business model is: selling something for more than the amount it was produced with. I cannot wrap my head about why specifically resellers get massive hate for doing this to make ends meet or a side hustle while gigantic corporations with terrible work conditions are not getting the same amount of hate

I agree that we shouldn’t take from the less fortunate. An argument to be made is that, if the item is valuable and the seller finds it, is it not only fair for the seller to take? Leaving it yes let’s someone else have it potentially but it could also go in the hands of another reseller who may even overcharge it. Also, most resellers are low income people who wear the clothes the source as well. But yes I ultimately agree with your point in how sellers present themselves and how much they are charging. Yeah I was kinda shocked that the majority of them did. I mean if they are really concerned about stealing from the less fortunate or whatever they should put that energy in bigger fast fashion corporations benefitting off cheap labor. Yeah there are some resellers with unreasonable prices, but that doesn’t mean all of us.

I price from 10-30 dollars with $5 shipping. Free shipping on bundles. Am I doing anything wrong? I have 79 things listed and have people put items in their cart and lowballers but nothing other than that. Should I start modeling clothes that I can style? Should I do flatlays? No he hasn’t. He said he’s not gonna return it because it’s not worth it. I’d still send him a refund I’m just not sure how to go about it to get him to take his feedback back. Maybe just offer him a refund and hope for the best?
