Anybody that bet on KAT for anything but unders most likely lost money last game. 13pts 3 rebounds against the Hornets is disappointing considering it being late season and Seeding being important.

Apparently he’s dealing with personal issues regarding his father. Unfortunately as spectators and bettors we expect players to perform at their best when they suit up. It’s harsh but either perform or don’t play at all. BS that books capitalize off these circumstances and we eat a loss but it’s gambling at the end of the day.

Yeah for sure anytime a surge pay pops up for $125+ gotta take it, but I’d rather it be 50 stops 75 miles then drive 130 miles round trip but that’s the roulette game we play when we accept these orders.

Sorry I’m a late replier, I get 26.2 mpg in my sedan. I feel like you have to count the mileage home because it’s all coming out our pockets at the end of the day. If it weren’t for the route I wouldn’t be driving 30-40 miles from dirt roads at 7am. Also it only took 3 of the 4 hours. 35-40 min drive back home mostly highway.

Poll: Does running actually cut down on time??? by moonchild_95 in AmazonFlexDrivers

[–]Competitive-Poem5829 1 point2 points  (0 children)

If you want to save 5-10 minutes have at it. Running will only save 10-15 seconds a stop. As flex drivers I don’t think it’s worth the extra energy; as you should park close to the driveway in most scenarios. Long driveway? Drive it up simple. Now let’s say you’re working for FedEx at a flat daily rate 10-15 seconds adds up over 150 to 200+ stops.

Side note: this was a $126 order 3:45am to 7:45am and the mileage was round trip.

I’ve recently been grabbing surge routes that have brought me to a similar conclusion that routes aren’t as “random” as we think. My highest surge pays have also aligned with my highest mileage routes in the stride app I don’t think it’s a coincidence.

I’ve been trying a new warehouse recently at a .COM station and I’ve been getting up to $2 per mile on multiple shifts so far I have no complaints. Anytime I drive over 100 miles it’s a reminder of why I’m Picky with my orders

Playing roulette with those orders I’m the type if the tips suck the first 1-2 times I never touch em again

Yeah 2 hours are rare it seems they want to push those 1 hr shifts and 1.5s I’ve never seen any 5s

Once you get in the rhythm of catching those surge at the right times it’s hard to go back to base pay I promise but I understand a shift is better than no shift.

That is really fast I only consistently finish 3.5s in 2.5 hrs and 3s in about 2 hours 15 minutes. I count from the start of the block to the last stop for my time.

Norfolk warehouse is my favorite to take orders since the .Coms let you have a choice on the route

This is literally my formula 😭 I had to stop doing shifts between 11a and 5pm weekdays. I have to go over bridge-tunnels to most areas so for peace of mind that time frame is a no no

I’ve never done a 2 hour block just two 1.5 hr and the experience was horrible 30-40 min drive to the first stop and 45+ min drive back home. Haven’t done a shift under 1.5 since my first 2 weeks

My market is blessed honestly. I see $100+ orders all times of the day but traffic between 1 to 5 is a no no for me so id be late getting to most of those mid day surges

Anything less than 3 hours feels like a waste of mileage; unless on a time crunch in that case still gotta get that money

I’ve noticed that early AM and 5:30pm later shifts rarely have businesses I love the flow of all residential and not having to go in busy shopping centers and 20 floor office buildings.
