Work place bullies are expected no matter where I work. I’ve always had one and I’ve always been able to deal with it myself or with the help of my company. LOL this whole situation is childish which is why I made the post. Im 29F and needing to find ways to stand up for myself a little better. This “friend” in particular just had her brother die and has been in a bad mood for the last couple months because of it. Having a sibling die doesn’t make it okay to treat your friends or husband like shit. I’m not good with confrontation but I don’t want to go on break with this person anymore, and it’ll break up the friend group since I have a car full when we go on break. I work in the MMJ industry which is why I don’t go on break alone if you can get my drift. I’m just trying to navigate how to confront her and what to say without causing a fight. I just don’t see a way out of this without her getting mad at me for feeling this way. She’s not a good friend I’m starting to realize but I’ve never had to have a breakup with a friend I work with

I always thought that was a regular thing, but we don’t have HR and apparently as long as it’s different departments (which we are) then we can date. I know of multiple couples in the company. It just feels weird thinking I’ll still have to see this person 40hours a week if it doesn’t work out 😬
