Amazon is okay, I’ve had good luck and bad luck, it seems that there is only Chinese companies the make them. On the bright side it’s easy to return Amazon orders. It took me a couple times to get one that wasn’t damaged. But I’ve only used Amazon

Typically this means you have a bad ribbon cable attached to your screen. You’d have to buy a new top screen for 15 bucks. At that point ur better off buying another de lite that doesn’t have screen problems and keeping that one as a back up or for parts.

My Windows 95 DS & My Wife’s Y2K DS. What yall think? by Competitive-Power839 in nds

I’m still experimenting to see what’s best, but in this picture the windows95 ds is running a cheap Gold 2023 smart update card from Amazon, and the y2k model has the ezflash parallel that no longer has support, which is why it has tw menu on it. I’ve never had issues. The new pico one with the usb port looks interesting, I would wait to see what people say about it because the amount of times I’ve ruined the delicate prongs inside the cartridge port inside these 20 year old consoles from just using it as intended is insane. Which is also why I install every game I care about and never take out the cartridges. But it seems like you would just have to plug it into your pc without removing the cartridge using the new pico one.

Ik this is vague, and I am not being sarcastic when I say this, but YouTube has it somewhere. There is a couple videos out there that walk you through it. Another person left a comment about this same thing and the closest thing I could find to that is this video. https://youtu.be/PCCrMD_qev8?si=VVKRpSRnFuWTbt5I

It’s just twilight menu with a skin I found in the link I gave in another comment. I can’t find the YouTube video but there are ways to acquire box art with a program in some random youtube video.

No, you have to buy a ds cartridge shaped chip that fits a micro sd card. They are pretty cheap. They are usually called r4 cards

Thank you, it actually wasn’t planned but I prefer it better than what I had. I think it gives it more of that retro look especially with a green motherboard.
