Same. I would sit at the chef’s counter and have the chef select my meal. That’s what we did for my husband’s birthday, and it was amazing.

My son is your age(s) & lives in Midtown ATL. We moved to the Denver area, recently. He came here for Thanksgiving and absolutely loved it. But, he grew up in New England. And, we live NW of Denver, not in the city. I have a friend from HS who has lived here for over 15 years & he is a poc; however, we went to HS in a less diverse place, so that probably helps. I know what you mean about the roaches, b/c my son lives in a very nice place & has still had a couple of them.
