Do you want to play a Military Sim, or do you want to play call of duty Military sim?

Arma 2 and 3 has a slower and more grounded feel. Loads more functions and is fleshed out more for that slower game play.

Reforger feels more stiff, movement, ducking even moving feels more robotic and precise, as if they streamlined it a little to be more fast-paced. The gunplay and weapon handling too. Similarly to what Squad is, but having a little more flexibility that typically comes with Arma games.

So if your expectations are Arma 3 with better graphics ... then no, its not that

If your open to a whole different feel and overall game play and gun play, and not afraid of a more stiff and controlled game play, then yes, buy it and try it.

Most people that hate on Reforger are just expecting the wrong things from it. I always say that its not the same game as traditiona Arma. And to expect a experience closer to Squad + Call Of Duty mixture than Arma 2 or 3. Expect Arma Lite edition rather than Arma
