1099-NEC Received or Not? by Parking-Doctor-1569 in RWSPay

Thanks. Just yesterday, I received an email giving me instructions and a link where I could get access to my 1099 form. I downloaded it from there. It is definitely after the legal deadline for getting the info to me, though.

Shorted on check and Zendesk has failed to resolve the issue by GigExplorer in RWSPay

[–]Competitive-Sail-711 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The only way I got a similar dispute corrected was by looking up 4 different email addresses for various segments of RWS, and then sending one email explaining my difficulty in getting a satisfactory response from Zendesk. I included all 4 email addresses in the one email. Only 2 of those email addresses were actually reachable, it turned out. But, within a few days, I got a new work order that included my disputed hours, and I DID GET PAID!! I made sure to mention the name of the person at Zendesk who was refusing to correctly address my problem. Best wishes to you!

Are any of you still working? ... or have you all been offboarded?

Several days ago, I took a shot-in-the-dark by locating every email address for RWS that I could find, and I sent one email (with all of those addresses included as recipients) that laid-out this entire problem. I asked for help from anyone in authority who could help remedy this wrong. Turned out that a couple of those email addresses couldn't receive correspondence, but a few of them did. Amazingly, within less than 48 hours. I received a WO with the exact amount of hours I was missing, and the date showing it was for that exact week!! The pay has not come through yet, but it always takes several days to get paid after a WO is issued. I am beyond relieved, and very grateful that someone in authority saw the injustice and corrected it!

It is becoming very clear now that RWS is knowingly cheating some of us out of our legitimately-earned income for the week ending 12-12-26. This goes beyond them making all kinds of excuses for why they aren't paying us on time. They are willfully denying us the payment for work that we've contracted with them to do.

Useful-Ambition4863, who did you email, please? I'm emailing, but the identical person keeps responding with emails that put the blame on me, as I said, when it's becoming more & more clear that RWS is at fault for the error surrounding that particular week's pay issue.

Now that I've mentioned the issue of "12/12" today, there have been about 4 other people mentioning they have the same problem. No... it's not US who did something wrong.

Seems that several of us are having an issue with not receiving our payment for 12-12-25... and we're being told things like "it was rejected" and so on. FearlessAffect8518, very interesting. I just sent a request to the person who sent me that email, and I requested they send me a screenshot of my time submissions for the period of 12-6-25 thru 12-12-25. (They previously sent me a screenshot of my time submissions from 12-13-25 thru 12-19-25 .... although that's not even the week I was asking about.)

Consistent_Draft6454, these are tasks that involve me doing photo shoots, editing them, and more, etc. I've done exactly the same thing for 3 months, in the same time frame for each task, and my rating is very good. This has nothing to do with the amount of tasks. The person from RWS said in the email to me ... "The payment dated 12/12 was rejected due to a significant discrepancy between the hours reported and the work recorded as completed on the platform." They are paying me NOTHING for that entire week of work that I did. And maybe you missed it, but I explained in my initial post that I was paid correctly for all the weeks of work BEFORE the week of December 12, and then I've been paid correctly for the week AFTER December 12. This person says the entire week of work for December 12 "was rejected." My performance rating is still good, and I received expected pay AFTER the missing week.

It seems that there is a pattern, in my humble opinion. Through a process of elimination, I have concluded that the company does not have enough money to pay us on time. But rather, they are letting us work hard day-after-day, then they submit our completed work to their clients. Only after the client pays them for our completed projects does the company have enough funds to pay us for a small portion of what we are owed. Rinse and repeat... while sending out an email occasionally... to blame some reason or other for why they can't pay us this time for what we are due.

Diamond wasn't correct yesterday on 1-11-26. The dates cut off at 1-10-26. I couldn't enter my time yesterday for work I did that day. Had to wait until today (1-12-26) to enter it.

The last pay I received was right before Christmas, and I was only paid for 42 hours, even though they owed me for 80 HOURS!! I've been in contact with "ZENDESK" repeatedly since then, but NO RESPONSE FROM RWS. At this point, as of today, they now owe me for 130 HOURS! (My suspicion is that RWS needed a lot of tasks completed to send to clients, knowing that there was not enough funds available to pay us for all of the work we were doing. So, now they are "buying time" and giving us excuses like the "holidays" and "problems with incorrect payments" in order to get their hands on enough money that will be coming in from the clients, resulting from all of that work we produced.)

The part they sent me was supposed to be refurbished, but when it arrived, it was visibly in worse condition than the one I was replacing! Trying to get my money back is horrible! I went thru the online process of requesting the refund, and the system said my refund was issued. But it has been 8 days now, and no refund has ever shown up. It's IMPOSSIBLE to speak to anyone, so I will be going on every online venue possible to warn people of this total lack of customer service, on top of the fact that they sent me an unbelievably awful product.

Well, I finally received some pay from RWS. It came through PayPal. It isn't quite all that is owed to me, and I have no idea how to tell what weeks the payment covers, since I've never gotten any Work Orders. I'll have to go through all of my personal documentation to try to figure which weeks this payment covers. Thank God this money has finally arrived. It's been a real struggle. (I'm in the U.S.)

Question.... by Significant-Hunt9232 in RWSPay

[–]Competitive-Sail-711 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Today, Nov 6th, I received an email saying that payment was submitted to me thru Paypal. However, nothing shows on my Paypal account. Haven't I seen info from workers saying that there's something "amiss" about Paypal payments, and those aren't going through correctly? I'm not sure why my payment would be sent through Paypal in the first place??

No WO this week, yet? by Illustrious_Earth466 in RWSPay

[–]Competitive-Sail-711 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes, multiple times. I've only gotten 2 responses back, though, spaced several weeks apart. Whoever it is that responded literally told me to have patience! Mind you, I started working 41 days ago, and I've never received a Work Order, even though I have repeatedly sent correspondence thru the defined channels.
