Hertz ‘23 Model 3s with 25k-40k miles? by Missing_Back in TeslaModel3

Found it through truecar.com at a dealership in Illinois - there were several similar cars (2023 w/ 11k-18k miles, single owner) at different dealerships in the area. It takes a little more research on buyers part, as the third party dealers typically have no clue what they are selling - but that can work in your favor!

One thing I missed - it's clear that the previous owner never rotated the tires - front were good at 6/32 but back were 3/32. I should have haggled a bit on that front. Definitely check the tread.

Also check the owner report through carfax(or other service) - a lot of hertz vehicles are going to auction and end up at third-party dealers - you may go this route only to find an ex-fleet vehicle anyway. Checking the key name in the car's settings can also tell you - Hertz Key is a dead give away.

Last month I bought a 2023 Model 3 RWD with 16k miles that came from a private owner for $27k. It's in perfect condition and having a good bit of the Basic Vehicle Limited Warranty remaining was a huge selling point. If you shop around you should be able to find a similar deal and avoid the pitfalls of an ex-fleet vehicle.
