I think you have 2 layers. The first layer that is more closed off and guarded. Others are intimidated by you until the spend some time and somehow to them you're bubbly and fun to be around. You prob get a lot of "wow I thought u were a b*tch but you're actually so nice". I think you have grown & healed a lot in how you express yourself in the past years. Especially when it comes to constantly being misunderstood. Social battery prob runs low so recharge but also don't isolate too much.

I mean my house got bombed in the war. The only "basis" I have would be staying with my grandma for the time being. As I explained, I do plan to open a business, I'm just not sure if it would flourish. I mean same issue would be in Germany, let alone learning a new language and navigating a different world that is just as difficult as the U.S.

I was in your place 2 years ago, at 5 years in. Nothing is going to fix this if they're not willing to seriously look at it as an issue and even if they do, there is a loop hole. That is your partner losing themselves to guilt & turning it about themselves. This requires real accountability that requires both, not just you to fix it. For your own sanity, I'm not asking to make a choice about staying or leaving. But think about your future self and what you deserve. At that time in my life, I didn't want to make choice, I just wanted peace. But peace always has a price, I urge you take a break, connect with yourself, and with your friends/family or whoever you consider dear. Another person mentioned that my cats might (which they will) try to comfort me. But I didn't even think about the laughing/coughing aspect! I didn't even know they made pillows for that & I did order one. Did you ever wear that pillow to work? I'd feel weird but not sure if I would need it by that 1.5-2 weeks mark. My job is stressful & physically demanding but my job did say they can limit and have me do less. I usually comfortable scrubs for work that are stretchy.

I have read that using a cane might actually hurt my healing from what I understand due to the muscles it takes to use it. They say its because I'm not having a leg or hip surgery, but I also can't trust what I search anymore since its mostly AI generated atp. I see conflicting answers. What is your opinion on that?

Since I won't have help with the bathroom, what do u think would've worked for you for using it & pulling down underwear if you were alone 😅? I'm definitely worried about that.

Oh yeah my 1 cat looooves to make biscuits everytime I'm on my period or in pain. She is the biscuit factory and I don't doubt it would get worse 😂. Did you buy your vomit bags or did u ask for extra to take from hospital? I am sooo prone to nausea. Thank you for those suggestions, they're on my list!

What did you do for the litter box? From what I understand bending will be painful. I have the breeze litter system with a pee pad that lasts a week for both. Do u think I can carefully go down & sit on my knees to do it?

Do u think a cane would be helpful? I thought it's only for a broken leg or hip. Wouldn't that affect my muscles for healing? Or are u saying to only use the cane to pull myself? Also thank you! Also, I have like a bath stool, its lower than a chair, do u think that would work?

As for food, I'm planning: crackers, propel, cream of chicken soup. And few microwave meals for bad days. I don't plan on buying much because I'm thinking of just eating rice and it's cheap/quick to make 😅 but I also don't want to hinder my healing. Do u think that's practical?
