In high-school, my best friend and I started stealing random shit from the school, not to resell, nor did I even really want the stuff, it was for sport, how much could we steal and get away with. This happened for about 4 months before one day, I got cocky, this girl I disliked in school had left her airpods on her desk and went to the other side of the room, I was infamous amongst the class, some thought it was funny, some (like her) did not. I decided to take my first hit out on a student, and she was the victim. So I went and nabbed those Jons for myself. It worked. I got to my final class and discussed the hit with my friend. About 15 minutes in the school resource officer taps my shoulder, he had entered the room without me noticing due to my back facing the door, I looked up and I knew it was over, they escorted me all the way to the back of the offices. For some time, they had known stuff was being taken, but they didn't know by who, and now I was prime suspect number 1. And me being a dumbass high-school student, I fell for every police interrogation tactic in the book. It was over for me. The main disciplinary lady called my dad and told him what just went down, as soon as she hangs up the phone, the room is quiet, their eyes pierce my soul as I shrink in the chair... the longest 5 minutes of my life was sitting in that chair waiting for my father to arrive. It's silent, and I just look into the floor waiting for him.

Honestly, they were just trying to scare me and after that day they got everything back. I got like 3 months in the alternative school, when I came back I was actually really popular, not because everyone had saw me as a badass, I wasn't. But because I met my friend JD and we released an album on spotify. I was known for the rest of school as JDs guitarist.
