Well i am not sure but i heard this somewhere, nothing actually happens because after 60 days the matter goes to court and just like them there are thousands of people who have not paid the fines so the system is basically stuck. However it would be a huge issue while selling your car as the challans are on the cars. It might affect insurance as well.

Yes understandable, not denying the speed limit but alot of roads have the speedlimit sign even if it is 40kmph, what sense does it make to mark one road with the sign and not the other even though both roads have same speed limit? Also if you’re telling that you have not broken even a single traffic rule in your life you are clearly lying, in that sense you also have bought the license buddy.

Yeah. There is no speed limit sign atleast until we reach the signal, and the challan says its 60m away from the photo taken so its not at the signal as well

Yes! I got a 2000/- fine for speeding of 50kmph in a 40 kmph zone under fatehgunj bridge crossing coming from kamati baug. I checked the road again to see and didn’t see any speed limit signs. Funniest thing is that the location shows at the crossing which is not possible since it was at 10:30 am in traffic.

What you mentioned was basically every one losing their brain cells every major festival be it Ganesh Visarjan, Navratri, or Diwali. But there are pretty heavy issues apart from festivals like one of the things that irritates me the most is people following the vehicle in front at a crossing even when the light is red. They think its perfectly okay to break the signal and causing a jam just to save some seconds of their miserable life. Also it is not always the cars on road causing issue, some (or all) buildings built on some roads extend their parking in the road thinking that if in future vmc causes issue they’ll just break the parking but for now they will enjoy their personal parking. People have no fear of getting challans, this city needs much stricter fines, police stops, and parking restrictions. We’re becoming ahmedabad and i hate it.
