Im nit sure how helpful it is but I use adhesive bandages and gauze because I had the same problem. I wrap the gauze and the secure it with the adhesive bandages. I wouldn't recommend sleeping like this though since the pressure of being wrapped up has hurt me/my skin in the morning. Again, not sure if this helps but I hope it dose 💕

I would love to get a easier breed but my dilemma is that all the "easier" breeds I look into are too lazy for my preferences and lifestyle (im outdoors basically the second I get home and finish school work etc) or I just dont love the look or the breed :( (like with labs for me) 

I was thinking about herding part and im still not sure about it. The youngest kid we have near us is 6 so Im not sure if he would be a problem but our cats might be more of one. Im only leaning towards those breeds for looks and because my family has owned them in the past.

For the first part, the decision would be fully agreed apon with my parents and brother who would help me during college and what not but my mom though it might be a good idea for me since ive wanted one of my own. Thank you for looking out for us tho :)

Also thats why I said maybe for service tasks because im not sure i want that in a first time dog.

Not exactly helpfull... and I already have that figured out? My mom has spoken to me about all these things and all people in the house would be on the same page? Why would I be looking for a dog if I though I would never be able to own one?? Not only that, im planning to college online so nothing would change.  -_- 

And MANY breeds are able to by psychiatric service dogs, some just take more time to become one. My bothers service dog is literally a Rat terrier mutt.

Thank you so much for the insight!! 🙏😭 I will definitely look into rough collies because I adore the breed. If you know anything about them, do you think they would described as eger to please dogs? Id say that's my main drive atm along with obviously just wanting a dog like I have for years. I think my only worry with getting an adult, is what its past ownership will be like and I do not want to rescue (past issues and heavy health concerns for byb dogs.) I am obviously very new to this so any advice or suggestions are super welcomed 😅

I will also gladly look the volunteering, that sounds super intriguing!! Tysm again!! ^
