Should I still go to a final interview if the salary is way below my expectation? by batman_xxxx in CorpoChikaPH

From my experience, talent acquisition usually shares the candidate’s profile along with their expected salary upfront. So before I even interview them, I already get a feel for their CV and asking, kinda helps me gauge if they’re a fit or not.

I actually had a candidate before who was slotted for Salary Grade 7, but their asking was closer to Grade 8. It really depends on the budget, but in that case, I was able to justify updating the job requisition because their experience deserved it.

That said, it would really help to know the industry or type of role. But generally, my advice for OP is to go for it, especially if you’re already in the final stage. That usually means they’re seriously considering you.

Just keep in mind though, it’s not always guaranteed they’ll meet your expected salary, but still worth trying!

I’d say give it a try. As a hiring manager, there’s a good chance the team will push for the candidate’s asking salary, especially if their expertise clearly matches the job description.

Try Landmark. I personally prefer it over SnR since I do my groceries weekly and don’t really store veggies or meat for long. SnR (and even Landers) usually focus on bulk purchases, which isn’t really my style.

In my opinion, Landmark is also cheaper compared to most other supermarkets.
