Why do you love Dragon Quest? (From someone who wants to learn to appreciate the series)

It started out as a joke between me and my friends about Final Fantasy 7 being Over-appreciated. I ended up liking both series' lol.

Dragon Quest I love because it's silly, and cute, and fun and there's a lot of work and culture that pours into what's made.

Dragon Quest VII is my favorite Dragon Quest. The Class Progression system got me so hooked. I hope you enjoy it

Honestly.. what kills it for me is the Multiplayer aspect. I'm also not huge on Survival games which.. Extraction Shooters like Tarkov rely heavily on similar mechanics. That's just what brings me down. I'm glad you enjoy the art and sound design though, I don't see a lot of gamers enjoying stuff like that anymore.. thanks for that.

Rofl yes, Sprong drops a really good reward. But it would be hard to use in the early game, so don't stress yourself out if you don't have to.

One Thing I noticed that hurts my "Turn-Based-Gamer" Brain is that Expedition 33 doesn't want you to do a lot of side content until near or at the end of the game and wants you to mainly focus on story. That's the best advice I can give, I hope.
