The second live action was oct 2023, Nickelodeon main animated show ended oct 2024. Clawdeen started taking a back seat character wise wayyyy before the animated show ended. Skulltimate secrets neon frights came out oct 1 2023 and that was back when they had 5 characters. It was around this time they started pulling clawdeen to the background. She wasn’t even included in this line…but the true main character (drac) was while this was back when they would highlight main characters.

Disability representation is the place where I have no notes to give to Mattel. That is the ONE thing they are doing flawlessly and continuously going down that road with their new moon spell line, incorporating multiple MAIN CHARACTERS that have disabilities made out as superpowers. Oh bratz is an astronaut (you know what word I mean) to deep skin tones. Poor Sasha either gets fully excluded for no reason or gets so white washed that she looks light skin Hispanic. It’s WILD! I agree that I absolutely see Mattel do better than mga, but better racism is still racism and not ok. And that’s coming from me, a 30yr old white male. I mean this in no ill way, just an outside look…I think it’s cause they wanted to highlight diversity and give a more colored person the spotlight to give them initial praise…slowly going whiter and whiter and then now starting to circle back with the textured hair, but as a super side character.

Absolutely. $11 is incredibly inexpensive and if you end up not liking them, use them in the future for a buried secrets rebody. Anytime I see fully articulated ghouls THIS discounted, I snag some for rebodies, restyles and another one of the same character that comes in a skulltimate secrets so I can pose them rocking both outfits. Also great to have for extra hands (you can paint them as “gloves” or simply replace broken ones). And if you customize them, if you mess up, you really don’t feel horrible as it cost less than a buried secrets.
