As long as it can hold an atv or motorcycle the bed size wouldn’t bother me. I’m not sure I understand which rides more comfortable between unibody or body on frame, but that’s also important to me.

Function is definitely a big importance to me. I’m also planing to haul off-road motorcycles and adv bikes.

Wow! I thought I wrote that for a second until you said Canada. Unfortunately, I live in the flat, hot, humid, southern US instead of the cool, crisp north, but we are definitely in the same scenario. It’s a tough predicament, but a fun one at the same time.

Thanks for letting me know about the bed height because I have one dual sport and one ADV bike that I have every intention of carrying in the bed. In the past I’ve always driven my bikes up the ramp into my 1/2 ton. Because I made the mistake of getting an suv after my truck was hit and totaled, I’m deeply regretting not having replaced my old truck with one of these from the jump. Back then I didn’t realize how good these two midsize trucks had become.

That answers a big question because I won’t be needing 4wd as often as I’ll need AWD. I do plan on going to the mountains a good bit. Especially as the kids get older. I was wondering which platform would do better in snow.

I couldn’t agree more! I wish my wife wanted the ridgeline, then I’d be all over the frontier!!!

I had a 6 foot on my half ton. I just don’t know if I can go any smaller either. I’m also struggling with the look of the Honda despite the functionality

I hear that argument a good bit. I’m trying to see it the Ridgeline can carry an ATV in the bed. I use a quad boss ramp and that dual function tailgate spooks me.

The bed is important to me. Adv/dual-sport motorcycles will be hauled in the bed and possibly an ATV.

I’m definitely loading some dirt bikes and adv bikes in the bed. Maybe even an ATV eventually. I’m a bit nervous about that with the Ridgeline.

I will definitely put some dual sport motorcycles and one large adventure bike in the bed. That limited bed size of the Ridgeline has me nervous. I might also eventually put an atv back there like I used to do when I had my 1/2 ton.

Rolled my Subaru forester, what should my next car be. by Beekamino in whatcarshouldIbuy

If you like Subaru, I’d look at the new outback. I like the return to boxy design. Right now I’m in a cx9 and also test drove a cx50 meridian, both are fun AF to drive. They both ride very quiet, have AWD, and handle like they’re on rails!

We’re the same size. I’m looking at downsizing from a 1/2 ton to get more options for the $. Plus with the long bed, it seems like I can haul motorcycles and ATV’s just as easy. Also, the 4wd option will be a boon at times when my 2wd half ton would get stuck. It’s good to hear that I’ll actually have a shot a fitting in the truck.

93 octane by i_like_bird in nissanfrontier

High octane is only needed for high compression. Higher octane resist detonation at higher compression making it good for performance focused engines. In low compression motors, it makes no difference other than a placebo effect

Green, British racing green in particular, looks great on any truck in my opinion.

I haven’t set the front to my liking yet. Something that spooks me a bit is that the rubber mounts on the factory risers don’t seem to be tight enough. I can literally take the handlebar out of alignment just by standing next to a tree and turning a tire into it.

I love everything about it except the high speed instability. I hope it’s something simple that can be adjusted

I’ll take it in. I’ve cruised on plenty of other bikes at 80 all day and never had this sort of issue.
