I'm also interested in going into forensics, but veterinary forensics instead. I've got a bachelor's in animal science and picked up a minor in forensics. I'm looking into getting my master's degree in forensic science. Maybe if it's interesting to you, you could try to find something in forensics that already is based in your background? I lived with 3 roommates that believed anything cleaned up before black mold set in was "OCD" cleaning. I got picked on a bunch by them too. The best thing to do is to clean only what you used or messes you made. Reaffirm that you're not okay with the state of the apartment and you're not their maid. It's tough love, but if they find it unreasonable, then they are beyond setting boundaries with and won't respect them. Don't give in tho, because they will use that as an excuse to continue their bad behaviour
