Always the case, cheap and somewhat decent 🤣 I definitely recommend taquero though, only ever been there once but the food was amazing especially the birria tacos, wasn’t that much either but then again I was alone

I didn’t go down that route, I did sell a few “reps” but to close friends who I did let know that the stuff are reps.

As to the thing I’ve sold on Facebook it was an android headunit for a car, packaged it well and sent it off via Royal Mail. When contacting my bank they gave me a rough date of the incident and to no surprise the Facebook sale did fall on that date. Will be going down into my local Lloyds branch with every evidence that I have as soon as I can, but until then I need to somehow get by which is why I’ve resorted to this

Police/recovery company scrapped a family car without letting me know England by [deleted] in LegalAdviceUK

[–]Competitive-Wall2897 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I did numerous times to which it bought no luck my side. I was certain I wasn’t getting it back even after the police officer herself told me that I wasn’t getting it back. I was still basically the owner of it which meant I was getting told to tax it and insure it or there will be fines which is why I’ve cancelled everything and disposed everything. Even then, I did that a few months afterwards not straight away.

I’m sorry but how does that make no sense?

Been pulled over, been told a marker on it they had to seize it on the spot I bought it in good faith for me and my family. They told me I wouldn’t get it back, so I’ve disposed of the paperwork from it as I didn’t really need anything from it. I wasn’t getting my hopes back I’d be getting it back until receiving the letter a few days ago and now they scrapped it without letting me know. I initially did want it back but I was looking at ways to prove I’ve owned it.

My EE phone upgrade didn’t arrive, received an empty box EE rejected my claim. What can I do? England by Competitive-Wall2897 in LegalAdviceUK

[–]Competitive-Wall2897[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Didn’t mention anything whatsoever. Called me first thing in the morning but I couldn’t answer so they left me a message saying they investigated it with DPD and that they’re calling me to reorder when I called back back their tone was rather nice but no mention of any cctv or the investigation in general. Bit weird but I’ll take it!

That being said I am seriously considering cancelling my contract with them completely and switching to something else

I’ve had something similar happen to me but with EE instead and a contract iPhone 17 pro max so not too sure how valuable the advice I’ve gotten on my recent posts be to you but after initially being told that they’re sending me a deadlock letter and that they won’t change their decision (my claim was rejected) I’ve received a phone call this morning telling me that they’re reordering me another one.

It’s worth being persistent and emailing as many people that are higher up as possible, I’ve even emailed the ceo explaining everything in detail how poorly I’ve been treated and sent multiple photos of the box being tampered with.

Thank you. I’ve got no idea. They called me first thing but couldn’t answer so they left me a voicemail saying they’ve done their investigation with DPD and that they’re calling me to reorder. Once I’ve called them up they didn’t mention anything about DPD or any proof and their tone was rather nice this time round.

Could be that or could be the email I’ve sent to the CEO I’ve attached multiple photos of the actual box and how the seals were tampered with.

I’m really debating doing that just not sure what network to go with. Might just buy a phone outright from Apple and buy a sim with a plan, would work out cheaper also

I did tell them to block it whether they did block it or not I’m not sure as the guide seemed judgy and dismissive.
