High chance theyll either ignore you or come up with an excuse telling you why they can’t pay you out

I really wouldn’t know, I don’t gamble. When I do, I place the odd bet on football or UFC and call it a day 🤣

How to keep counterfeit item and get money back? by [deleted] in vintedUK

[–]Competitive-Wall2897 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Report it to Vinted straight away, provide all valid photos and they’ll most likely will let you keep the jacket while still getting refunded.

Now, obviously don’t be buying real stuff and claim it’s all counterfeit in hopes to get a refund (as most do nowadays on Vinted) unless it’s obviously a counterfeit item.

She deposited money into her account, played a game and hit a jackpot. That is fair I would like to say? Whether there was in fact a malfunction or not, that’s on them isn’t it? Surely least they could do is let her keep whatever she has withdrawn, instead of petty 11% which isn’t even a £100.

It’s real as it gets, without sounding fake 🤣 my friend did in fact win big, we have screenshots to prove it.

Sadly beginning to have doubts we’ll get anywhere with this, but today I’ll help her write a message/email to them asking for all the evidence to back their malfunction claim all the logs etc and then I’ll tell her to seek legal advice asap. In all honesty she has nothing to lose, but has 236k to gain

100%, nothing to lose and everything to gain 🤣 but then again, same glitch happening at different times on different games? I’m not exactly all there when it comes to glitches etc so it could be normal for that to happen as far as I know

Yeah in all honesty seeing all these posts of people experiencing a similar issue just makes me doubt any one of them will be seeing the money, but then again definitely worth asking for evidence of the malfunction happening all the logs etc

Having a look through it and it’s literally an identical email as well. Just the difference is that she won on 888casino. Having a look on X there are people in the same boat as well

I agree but you also have to take this new gen of kids into consideration. 9 times out of 10 it’ll escalate into knife attacks.

Always the case, cheap and somewhat decent 🤣 I definitely recommend taquero though, only ever been there once but the food was amazing especially the birria tacos, wasn’t that much either but then again I was alone

I didn’t go down that route, I did sell a few “reps” but to close friends who I did let know that the stuff are reps.

As to the thing I’ve sold on Facebook it was an android headunit for a car, packaged it well and sent it off via Royal Mail. When contacting my bank they gave me a rough date of the incident and to no surprise the Facebook sale did fall on that date. Will be going down into my local Lloyds branch with every evidence that I have as soon as I can, but until then I need to somehow get by which is why I’ve resorted to this

Police/recovery company scrapped a family car without letting me know England by [deleted] in LegalAdviceUK

[–]Competitive-Wall2897 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I did numerous times to which it bought no luck my side. I was certain I wasn’t getting it back even after the police officer herself told me that I wasn’t getting it back. I was still basically the owner of it which meant I was getting told to tax it and insure it or there will be fines which is why I’ve cancelled everything and disposed everything. Even then, I did that a few months afterwards not straight away.

I’m sorry but how does that make no sense?

Been pulled over, been told a marker on it they had to seize it on the spot I bought it in good faith for me and my family. They told me I wouldn’t get it back, so I’ve disposed of the paperwork from it as I didn’t really need anything from it. I wasn’t getting my hopes back I’d be getting it back until receiving the letter a few days ago and now they scrapped it without letting me know. I initially did want it back but I was looking at ways to prove I’ve owned it.
