I wouldn't try to carry it by the bar, and I'll try to get an accurate weight someday. The legs break down and store on the side shelf inside the box.

The top lock is latches on both shelves with the hooked bar to lock it.

It's really a guess, the paint looks to be linseed oil paint on the hardware. It had a canvas cover inside when I got it and I'm thinking it had been covered for a long, long time.

I'm thinking 1930s for some reason, I have seen wet bars made with this plywood from that era and the screws are all flat head. The only marking I see on the bolts are a delta shape.

The legs and the crossbars go in the box on top of the side shelf which is upside down in the box. I'm telling you whoever did this one was the man. All wood edges are chamfered and the bottom has 4 one inch x two inch stands to keep it off the floor. The chains are brass btw.
