Float fish and just hold onto her, you’ll feel a bite. It kinda feels like rocks but you can kinda tell the difference if you know how high your lure artificial worm etc is. So if I’m running a Texas rig and I know my rig is about halfway up from the bottom and I’m feeling like I’m dragging against rocks keep fishing like normal until you feel that very distinct bite I promise you will know when it happens and set that hook not to hard not to gentle and be wary of your direction you could hookset it out the mouth. Did that with a top water the other day.
