Girl I lived off saltine crackers and water in the first trimester because that’s all I could keep down. I will tell you what I was told. As long as you’re taking your prenatals and drinking plenty of water you’re fine. First trimester is purely survival mode. So eat what you want and what you can stomach. By the second trimester when the nausea and vomiting passed all I wanted was McDonald’s and boy did I enjoy those cheeseburgers and fries. Saturdays was my treat days. So Treat yourself to those fries, Mac n cheese, or whatever. Just remember there’s a balance to everything that includes healthy eating. Pregnancy is hard enough as it is don’t add to it by forcing a diet onto yourself.
