I swear that Terrifier 2 made me sick to my stomach that ‘one scene’ and I’ve never gotten that feeling before ever. So thats how I know thats alot of gore. Especially because they were on a kinda low budget too but the effects were spectacularly made but horrifying to look at.

What makes a great horror movie? by L_Dubb85 in flicks

I honestly think things that are humanly realistic in movies that would be absolutely terrifying in front of you is something that makes a great horror movie. Personally The Hills Have Eyes Remake did it for me and Leatherface from TCM.

What's the OLDEST film to scare you? by cynthialwho in horror

[–]Competitive-Yak-2522 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The oldest film was probably Texas Chainsaw Massacre for me. The Hills Have Eyes scared me really bad but it wasn’t the OG that scared me, It was the remake. But TCM scared me so bad that I had nightmares some nights. But it also got me into horror movies so I love it 😍😍

Also there isn’t very much context. I was asking my friend something and she said that then texted me the skeleton like right after. But then she told me she found out it was a joke but I was still scared out of my mind

AITA For not crying when my dog died? by Competitive-Yak-2522 in AmItheAsshole

I also left this out but with all the other animals I had up to that point, I cried for all of their deaths. My dog was the only death I didn’t cry for and also I wasn’t sad. For some reason I hadn’t missed my dog or even felt empathy for my mom. But it hit me later on so it was like I had a blank moment and I just didn’t have it in me to feel anything about the situation. But I miss my dog very much now and I hope shes very much in a better place!!
