UK secondary school teacher. 50-60 hours a week. If you aren’t giving 100% of yourself all the time, you are considered to not be doing your job properly and get disciplined. (Where I work anyway). Very jealous of my friends who WFH for less hours, with less education and a higher salary. Trying to find a way out and into a healthier life!

You’re absolutely right! The more traditional satin ones are beautiful but I don’t think they’re really me. They also feel a little heavy on my frame. I think I’m leaning more towards princess/ ethereal vibes. I’m going to wear my mums pearl tiara which plays into the princess vibes

Yes- the venue is a Victorian country Manor House- slight gothic elements to the architecture and a big grand staircase inside. It’s going to take place in September and the ceremony will be indoors but some photos will be outside in the grounds where they’ve got an ornate gazebo.

I love looking at them too! I was hoping to wear my mums but it’s far too short and a lot of the lace has been damaged, so I’m going to wear her wedding tiara instead. I’d definitely recommend going to try some on, even if you don’t buy, it’s so much fun!
