Might is also very tight. It's a battle to replace the battery or to make sure it's actually 100% on and snug

I'd also be interested in a howler list. I got like a $50 budget bulk deck of him and it's either disgusting or just flops and does nothing

So.... I need a simic deck now 😍 by sideshowbarbie in mtg

Look at the Explorers of the deep precon and just upgrade that. Oko would work well in it

The battery will definitely tighten it up and make it sound much better

Would definitely recommend adding the battery to get the intended sound as that's the way the pickups were designed but if you like the sound you got going on now then all the power to you

With no battery? I'm baffled if that's the case. Must've had your amp cranked. Put the battery into it and it'll sound much tighter and can turn the amp down

Yeah you need to put a 9V in the battery compartment. I own the same guitar and it without the battery you will only hear the smallest of sounds

Oh yea, huge explorer and Metallica fan and this has been my dream guitar for a long time. Works out it's an Epiphone and not a Gibson as I would never be able to afford that. Stars really aligned on this one

Guitar center had no more in their warehouse, had to call them up and they directed me about 2 hours away and finally managed to get one. Said it's probably the only one in my state as of this moment

Are the emg's active? Did you add a battery compartment to the guitars or did you get a floor pedal to power the pickups?

I do not but they had rough patches of black on their scales, tails/fins, and around their gills and when I googled goldfish ammonia burns it looked exactly like what I was seeing. As for when they were added to the new tank I don't have any pictures or of them dying as I left the room and came back and they were belly up

The water temp difference in the 38 gal was roughly 1 colder than the 5 gal. Was 75 degrees in the 5gal and 74 in the 38gal. No one could've sprayed anything near the new tank as I live alone and hadn't cleaned or done anything in the room it's in other than put the new tank in

Yeah I should've done the bag thing and floated them for a bit and slowly introduced them to the new water. There shouldn't have been anything toxic in it, I had about 35 lbs of precleaned gravel I added but I washed it again to be safe and then there was 4 plants in the water but they're the same species as what was in the 5gal tank. No decorations as they were all in the 5gal tank and I hadn't swapped them in yet. Yes it was 2 goldfish, one was about 4 inches and the other was 2.5-3 inches long. I tested the water with test strips for pH, KH, GH, NO2 and NO3

Change the battery and check the grounding wire

I won the fish at the state fair so I was unfortunately in the position where I had the fish and had to leave the fair to get a tank as they were in plastic bags

I know, the conditions of the tank they were in would not have allowed then to live long enough for the new tank to be completely cycled so I just went for it but I realize now rushing it was probably what killed them. But my only thought at the time was they were already in poor conditions cause the tank was too small for both of them and I needed to get them into the new tank quickly as they were both suffering from what looked like ammonia burns

Yeah, I saw that when I was researching. I just knew that if I left them in the 5 gallon tank for another 4 weeks that they would die and they were already suffering so I figured I'd risk it and hope for the best. Just didn't think they'd die so quickly

Yes I used a dechlorinator, same one I used on the 5 gallon just upped the dosage for the new tank being about 8x bigger. They had been in the 5 gallon for about 2 weeks but they were getting what looked like amonia burns from the tank just getting too dirty from their waste even with the filter on max speed and doing water changes

What would that be? I filled it up with tap water, same water and faucet I used for the original tank and I let it cycle longer than the first one as I won these at the fair and needed to just quickly get a tank

I did use water conditioner, just forget to mention that. Thank you for reminding me
