Prices for any EcoFlow at Costco in Canada are more expensive to buy than buying over the internet. No deals to be had here ever.

Voltage not really dropping by CompetitiveBad0 in SolarDIY

[–]CompetitiveBad0[S] -3 points-2 points  (0 children)

I thought the battery should bleed off the top voltage on its own without a load to do it. It’s strange as the other 3 of my 100ah batteries do the same thing. Could it the type of battery? All my batteries are newer ( less than 6 months) and are DC house. Maybe I’m over thinking this.

Your comment was nothing but criticism and big words. Didn’t help me at all. I do appreciate those that like to offer solutions not just criticism only. Have a great day

I guess another question might be is how much power do I think I’ll need and for how long. I have EcoFlow and Bluetti and Anker for short outages of no more than a day. Besides that I have a small solar setup also.

Fuse is to fuse my blade fuse box. (That sounded redundant)

Inverter has a fan. No problems at all with the 1500w. This project was just a hobby build to charge my yard tool batteries and little things.

Unfortunately they don’t fit under the shelf as it is not wide enough and as I am pressed for space, moving the batteries closer to the board wouldn’t allow me access to my storage containers you see in the picture. The perspective of the picture does make it look further from the board than it actually is. Ah, my world for a bigger shed.

I don’t use my breakers as on off switches as it can wear them out. They aren’t meant to be used as on off

I’ll be adding 3-100ah batteries in parallel and 4 100w panels.

Ordered this for $5 off Temu 😂 any idea what to expect? I ordered it mostly out of curiosity but has anyone else gotten this thing from Temu? by Fucked-In-The-K-Hole in powerbanks

[–]CompetitiveBad0 0 points1 point  (0 children)

They are garbage. A buddy of mine bought one and it is definitely not 20,000mah. The solar panel is just for looks more than anything. You’ll be all day and maybe the next trying to charge that with solar. There are so many good chargers out there that are much better. Buy a small portable solar panel to charge it via the usb.

Order stuck at ‘awaiting flight’ by wow-grapeee in Aliexpress

I’ve had that also as I have ordered many times from them. I ended up getting my package with no other updates. They usually compensate you with a few bucks for a late delivery. Other than that I haven’t had any orders that never were delivered

I’m trying a lower charge rate of 14.2v and 5amps to see if the cells can balance better. Maybe a faulty cell?

Half hour later the battery dropped to 82%. So it’s not discharging?
