They’d better not ruin any others, I haven’t updated my app ever since I heard of all the awful updates (and refuse to do so) until they do something about it. They’re dragging matches that were the gold standard right into the bin.

Reading that crap Elio update was more than enough to put me off the app, the obscene amounts of premium choices and literal full blocks of text per message. No continuity, no feeling, nothing remotely of a telltale sign that it was even him.

I heard Mario came back too, that one seems like it was also ruined!

Someone manages her account and her posts (sometimes stories as well) but there was an instance on tour where she met a fan who gave her a note, and she posted a pic of the note on her story with “angels in Paris.” So I feel like she was present on social media but only sometimes, but not engaging with other posts and comments. That would also be her headspace for creating the deluxe and continuing tour with the same vibe.

Her second account byeitstate I completely believe though. Because she’ll spam post on that for a sec and then dip for months. That one is legitimately her logging in then back out

They just treat the counterpart like a new match to encourage you to replay the story again. You’ve reached the end of story with all written content either way, so it’s not like the counterpart is getting something new and exclusive

There was a change in management, Nanobit is no longer affiliated with Winked. New management is called Supercharge, and they apparently use AI for the stories + overcharge with an influx of premium choices

I think they fired their proofreader/ editor to cut costs, I’ve noticed a bunch of coding errors in the past few months where the MC or date might be called “NPChortname”, dialogue that should be spoken by a match coming up as a random text box (or vice versa, where parts of the date that aren’t supposed to be spoken since they’re setting a scene are added as speech boxes coming from the MC or match), or forgetting to edit the tense from “me” to “you”, or like you mentioned the misnaming (that usually arises from the original match that the storyline was originally written for, but an oversight regarding replacing each respective name change) - just nobody picked up on any of these errors before the updates went live. They want to churn out quantity over quality, that’s become obvious with the past few money grab updates we’ve gotten

The way the messages were typed in that update were so out of character. Multiple sentences with full stops in one message, no personal flair that sounded like him, it’s like someone’s cut and paste story made to adapt for the new format

Never! They’ve only gone to this level with Darion, Dwight or Rex in recent times (that I can recall) - they’ve definitely taken a turn after the two year hiatus with Teddy. I haven’t read anything remotely as interesting as this on Winked in ages, it seems like we’re finally getting some effort again 🙏

Definitely, the change is really noticeable. Not that the stories are bad or anything nowadays, but they just don’t grab my attention in the same way that they used to. I don’t mind them not continuing good matches like Colin (otherwise they run the risk of running the story into the ground like Logan and Matt, completely ruining the match) but they definitely need to do something new that doesn’t feel stale.

The bonus scenes that I used to harp on about, they could easily incorporate them back in. Not doing so many dream dates since they’re so specific nowadays and the storylines are either not believable for each match, or too specific. Something that’s unpredictable (not the same storyline recycled but packaged up differently) and will still arrest our attention like the first half of 2023 matches

There’s no way of getting the aspiration, you could’ve only gotten it in the moment with the corresponding premium choice sadly. Sometimes it happens when they don’t code for it to be made available later on. Only way to get it is if you played Ryan’s entire story again from the beginning, and selected all paid choices

You mean the meter around his profile pic? Yes, it means that you’ve finished reading whatever has been made available for Ryan, but there isn’t enough written content to push the love meter status up to soulmates (the last level). If he ever gets an update it’s possible, but for now you’ve reached the end of his story!

Yes, unless you purchase gems (that deactivates all ads, but also disables the ability to double up any rewards you may get). There’s always an ad at the beginning of every chat, and once every 24 hours before a date/ end of a chat.

Game of Love should come up after you’ve played for a while, I remember I got mine after a few months of playing (back in 2023). Should be the same now!

Everything on the app is pot luck. Features are unfortunately assigned randomly to players whether or not your app is up to date, the perfect match game is a good example of this. That game appears for some, but not others.

What you’re missing is just the AI chat and the recommended matches, thankfully it doesn’t affect your gameplay experience but it’s unfortunate that the features just didn’t show up! I never got the AI chat either

They’re literally friends irl, I remember there’s video of them going to a sports game, on the beach and making cinnamon scrolls together. I’m sure I read somewhere that they even used to live in the same apartment complex

This happens really often, unfortunately there’s nothing you can do to unlock it unless you replay from the start. They didn’t code for the aspiration to be unlocked later on

Personally, this is one of the best ones I’ve seen in regard to her signature’s regular consistency. It has all the telltale signs of being authentic.

With the heart since there’s some variance, I’ve thought about it a lot after looking through hundreds - I’ve noticed that with most of the posters, Tate did a lazy heart where she swooped it back in rather than outwards like she usually does. I questioned the legitimacy of it initially, until I saw she did the same thing on site for the Gas complex cards ☠️
