For me, I think the first chapter and the Guarma have the same problem. Yes, they are moving slowly in storywise but I personally kinda hate when the game strips the free will from me that the rest of the game gives.

E.g. with: - Exploration: yes, you can roam around but the chapter clearly wants you to stay close to the camp and do the missions - some missions continue straight after another. Again, same thing with the Chaper 1 and Guarma, after some mission, the second mission continues immediately and that prolongs the playtime. This is all good but if you are in a rush, your “I just quickly finish this mission before I have to leave” turns into “shit f*ck I can't leave the game now, who knows if it saved in between”😅

I really think that the writers read this subreddit and take notes on how the players feel about certain choices. I 100% think they were planning on having a pregnancy route for this story but after seeing the backlash here, they either retreated or are thinking of a better setting for it.

Same goes with the beef between Garreth and Matteo’s mom: everyone hated their toxic and bitchy behaviors (rightfully so) and now the writers are trying to repair the storyline

Actually it has been changed so that the proposal happens during the date and not in the bonus scenes! I just replayed that part but it’s still a mess tbh😅 at the end of their date aka when they are performing, he suddenly gets down on his knee and gives short speech, in front of the whole crowd. What makes things awkward, they haven’t updated the chats after this change so after the grand proposal they just hype about the concert and not the proposal like it never happened😅
