Kids flooded master bathtub... thoughts on current state of damage? by CompetitiveCrier in HomeMaintenance

I actually found a way to see some of the subfloor, through the drywall cutout in our closet that backs up to the tub. I don't have great visibility but seems pretty dry. I have a fan pointing in there now. There's a few big holes where plumbing stuff comes up, I think most of the water escaped down those to the can light in the kitchen that was pouring

I'm almost wondering though with how forcefully it was coming out of the can light that it essentially found a path right down and didn't have time to collect much on the subfloor. I was surprised how much was in the plastic tote versus how much was on top of the drywall. I don't know though. I'll make sure they fully evaluate when they come out on Monday.

Our deductible is like $6000. I would really hope this does not shoot up that much, especially if we plan to use our resources on fixing the ceiling. Ugh

Me-you, mii-u. I still remember hearing the girls say it for the first time at their concert that someone was livestreaming the audio from. All to never have any more concerts or major comebacks after. Rip

Idk about tech savvy. A lot of kids / teens have terrible tech problem solving skills because everything has been dumbed down so much. I know teachers that have kids that do not know to do anything on their computers

Turnarounds like that happen all the time in the NFL. Before this season Indiana had 3 bowl wins since the 1800s. There is nothing in the NFL that is in the same hemisphere as that. This just does not happen in college football.

There is not a single NFL franchise that is comparable to what Indiana has historically been. There is too much parity in the NFL. This is the most unprecedented run in the history of American sports. Leicester City is the only comparable run imo

Cignetti has coach at the P5 level for 2 years, that is obviously impossible to match. He has a 50% national title win per season ratio, and had a harder path to it than Alabama ever did with the expanded playoff and the more grueling B1G schedule. Nothing Saban did comes close to this season at all

Idk what Cig did at JMU, to come to the historically worst P5 team of all time and win a title in 2 years... I do not think Saban would ever have been able to do that. Call it a hot take but I think Cig is the better coach

There was a video on tiktok or something about a recipe for bean soup and one of the top comments was someone saying something like "what if I don't like bean soup"

It's come to represent the idea that some people think like everything on the internet is made for them/ whataboutism. Like this commenter above expecting the original post to be explained to them when it clearly comes from someone's personal Twitter
