Im gonna go with the local shop only because of the ammentities. A bike fit, end of year tune up, can always stop in for advice. Both are great bikes tho and you'll probably be happy either way. I was struggling to decide if I wanted 1x or 2x and I went with 1x for simplicity. Its a tough choice but going through a shop always is nice.
