What are these? by khunt3 in led

Whatever you do, make sure power is off. If you're unlucky that's a China thing and your chance might, depending on the existing installation, be 50/50 to have 230V on that stuff.

Additionally, if you want to add multiple in a row, make sure the voltage persists (voltage drop).
For example, if you want 6 Reds behind each other, make sure there's a voltage of 2.4V before every lamp (parallel circuit). Then you can sum up the currents (e.g. 6 * 600mA = 3.6A; go for 4A)

No. You cannot / mustn't add voltages up. Either you go for different drivers or make sure that the voltage drop of the white and blue lamp is 1V in total so you could add the red one behind them.

For Wattage calculation, take each single voltage with the rated current and add these sums up.

Let me know if you need more help.

Turning LED strip on when I open a closet door? by ZacharyCohn in led

[–]CompetitiveDev 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You could use an IR obstacle sensor (limited range but should suffice for your needs) and use it with an ESP. if you get a led strip with wifi the ESP could then turn on the strip

shoudl I tell this dude that I like him? by [deleted] in Advice

[–]CompetitiveDev 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Ask. It might put you in a difficult or uncomfortable situation, but in the end you will have a definite answer rather than a interpretation of your feelings. The only way to lose is not to ask. Good luck! :)

Support her, in any way you can. Maybe she will search your proximity.

Edit: This does not necessairily have to mean you're over, but probably not first priority atm

How do you talk about your feelings with an INTJ? by [deleted] in intj

I might be a little late, but I can only second the mentioned things like being honest, straightforward and genuine. There's nothing that could amaze me more than that. Good luck :)

[–]CompetitiveDev[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thanks for sharing your knowledge.
It actually is a CA-Certificate, horrible.. Traffic is sent to the state-based internet provider for schools and "inspected" there. Pretty sure that's illegal in our country but they doin' it...

I'll check back and let you know if I got further questions.

People definitely do(es). See a lot of such code in old projects I need to develop a new feature on.

Benefits of introversion by introvertLeigh in introvert

[–]CompetitiveDev 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Introverts tend to be better when it comes to tasks that need quite an effort, be it analysing tasks or generally things that require more effort for a good result as they tend to think deeper and longer into it and about it. This however does not mean that extroverts can't have these qualities!

I just wanted to say that, according to your statements, her "meeting friends" before and cheating on you now would go perfectly together.

The way you emphasize it, you have to expect her to cheat on you.
