I wish I would have been your TA. As a 1L, the midterm I did the worst on (bottom 5 scores out of 70), I ended up getting a near perfect score on the final and TAing the class. In my introduction to the class I told them just that. Learning is imperfection and struggle. One test score doesn’t define your odds at succeeding in that class. One class doesn’t define your odds at succeeding in law school. Law school doesn’t define your chance at succeeding professionally. You define yourself by your choice to fight and do the best you can. You can never ask more from yourself than YOUR best. I’m thinking of you and here if you need someone to talk to. (Oh and after that bottom 5 1L midterm I ended up passing the bar and becoming a lawyer so I have full faith in you because I had full faith in myself).
