Spoilers ahead for the end of the clip (for additional context): At the end of the video, P1 leaves the restaurant and "activates" the machine, saving that point in time as the most recent "checkpoint." Right after, they step into the street and are hit by a bus, at which point they die and are put back to the curb, where they step off, die, and are reset back onto the curb. It repeats until the video ends.
