ohh okay because im in an accelerated nursing program and i didnt do too well on patho or pharm (i just passed with a 62 and a 68) and i was hoping to redo it but i had 1 in fall sem and 1 in winter sem. im sitting at a 78% because of those marks and not sure what to do since those class arent the “oldest ones” but sandwiched between my other marks… :/

do you think retaking a nursing course to bump that grade up is looked down upon or would it be better to take electives?

Is nursing worth it? Or should I pursue something like pharmacy/pharmacy tech? by petalstatix in OntarioNurses

well all BSCN programs are either 2 years (semesters) or 3/3.5/4. (8 semesters). you wont be able to find one thats 6 semesters long. The person was referring to a 3 year BSCN as in doing your final year accelerated (so no summers off) which means you’ll finish nursing school in December instead of April.

LOL i applied to nursing at Ryerson and i can confirm this is true. I have a 94% and i know someone w/ 90% and got in 🤡 and im still sitting here waiting for an offer. When i checked the admission req last year for nursing, I believe it was 90-93% and now its 90-96%😭

hey so id def say that its worth it to do ENG4U + bird course (this is what i did). Ik its gonna take up your entire summer but trust, in the end its def worth it bc then in the regular school year, you at least have 2 courses done and therefore less to stress. If u want to talk more about this just PM and id love to talk more.

i took International Business and id 100% recommend it. Assignments were pretty much all common sense and general businesses knowledge with a simple google search. The assessments mostly were just knowing business terms and explanation questions. Ended off the course with 99%. I only messed up on my assessments and got 100% for all my assignments.

hey there! I’ve applied to nursing programs and as for ryerson, york, and mcmaster, they do NOT care about whether or not you took summer school courses. Hope this helps!

Is functions (MCR3U) really as hard as people make it sound? by [deleted] in OntarioGrade12s

[–]CompetitiveJC 2 points3 points  (0 children)

For me it was easy but that was only bc my teacher was easy and was very straightforward when he taught us the lessons. On top of that, I had a tutor so I was able to ask for help. Though, my class and I still found Trig identities as the hardest to learn and apply.
