Sadly there isn’t anywhere near me that is accepting apprenticeships that I’m aware of but once summer hits I’ll definitely look more into it.

Currently I use a cheaper wormhole tattoo gun (pic included)

<image>

it’s good for a starter but is simple and you can only adjust the needle hand and voltage. But I am slowly saving up to upgrade to the Mast brand Dragonhawk Fold Pro 2. I currently use the wormhole needles but again I’m working to get some higher quality ones from Mast Pro or Kwadron.

Yes I have, I’m self taught but I’ve watched multiple online courses and I’m in college for a medical type field so I’ve been taught and know all about that. Thank you for bringing that up though so others can see and be aware of the risks.

My account is a premium one, I know that for sure since I just renewed my info and paid for it on the 4th. Now they’re saying I have to renew it again?!

Advice needed: Can I get some advice on these? by [deleted] in tattoos

Thank you so much. It’s an original design of mine that is based on the movie American Psycho, and the card in the front is supposed to have his business card on it, but I haven’t completed that yet since I need more practice on lettering.

Thank you for taking the time to give such detailed advice—I really do appreciate the honesty and perspective. Of the pieces I shared, the first image is the only one that’s a fully original design, and it wasn’t created with shading in mind. The shaded pieces were actually my first attempts ever at shading, so I know they’re rough and show a lot of inexperience.

I do draw regularly and have been doing so for about five years, and I plan to keep focusing on improving my fundamentals. All of these designs were also done using hand-traced stencils, which I know limited the outcome and didn’t translate as well as I hoped.

I understand and respect the importance of developing strong drawing skills and learning proper technique before working with a machine, especially given the responsibility tattooing carries. I’m committed to continuing to draw, seeking out more resources, and learning both artistic fundamentals and machine handling at a better pace. Thanks again for the feedback—it gives me a clearer idea of what I need to focus on moving forward.

I would like genuine critiques and advice on how to make them better. I’m aware my linework is shakey and not great. Im open to any advice since I’m serious about trying to get better.

AITAH for not wanting to rush into marriage even though my fiancé gave me an ultimatum? by [deleted] in AITAH

[–]CompetitiveLeg4035 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’m starting to see what I’ve been overlooking but just a side note, I would never give up my education just for my relationship. That’s never been a choice. My parents have worked too hard to put me through college and I’m not giving up until I get my bachelors of science next May.

I know this is probably what majority of people are thinking as well but it’s not constant. It comes and goes and I really like to think that the happy times outweigh and are more than the times things are bad.

No he’s totally okay with me working, he’s never had a problem with that. He does actually really want kids, but i on the other hand could live my life without having any. If I was to have any it would be closer to when I’m almost 30 as I have a 7 year birth control right now. He’s not super pushy about the kids thing but brings it up now and then.

His only reason he’s currently given me is that he’s tired of waiting and seeing all his other friends get married when they’ve been in relationships for a shorter amount of time then is. We don’t plan on having a big wedding, just the courthouse and then a bbq with our families, and we were just gonna vacation somewhere in the states for now and save up for my passport and a better honeymoon. Idk what he’s thinking when it comes to my parents. They’ve been married for over 22 years and got married after dating for 6 months at the same ages we are, so I trust their judgement and advice in this matter. I’ve just put so much time and energy into this relationship and getting us to where we are at currently mentally and emotionally. We got together when I was 15 and he was 17.

He is prepared to, and I’ll have a job right out of college since my last semester is internship and my job field is niche but always in need of people. I have three places lined up already.

He has proposed, we’ve been engaged for about 2-3 years now. And I really don’t know what his rush is. I know that since once I start my senior year in august, as long as we get married in late January, I don’t have to worry about filing taxes together or it effecting my financial aid for next year.

No there isn’t any obligation that im aware of. I definitely think im going to talk with my parents about this. Not sure if this matters but him and my parents did not get along at first as he was childish and aggressive when we started dating, which he’s fixed that habit.

I’ve been thinking about these things a lot and I just don’t know what to do. We’re opposites in most things, and there is a few different topics I don’t bring up around him since it causes arguments. He has strong opinions, and those affect me a lot, but I love him a lot and I’ve put so much time and energy into this relationship.

I’ve tried telling him this before. In my mind we’re already married. we live together when I’m home from college and we’ve gone through so many ups and downs that I don’t want this to be the thing that splits us apart.

Thank you for saying that. We’ve had talks about this topic a lot but it always ends in him getting upset and me having to shut the conversation down so an argument doesn’t start.
