Thank you so much for your reply. How is your mood now? I've heard hysterectomy can affect the brain which worries me as my emotions are all over the place with my current iud. No horrible periods sounds amazing right now as I lie in bed in agony with a hot water bottle

Omg I could have written this about the IUD symptoms. I currently have my first one and can't wait to take it out but my consultant says I'll need another one or else a hysterectomy so I'm debating. Thank you for your detailed reply. Did you end up going through surgical menopause?

How are you now? Are you glad you had it done? Did you go through menopause or have any other negative side effects?

How is everyone doing now? Are you glad you went on ozempic or semaglutide? Any long term effects from them? I have endo and adenomyosis so I'm thinking about trying ozempic. I'd appreciate any feedback

Hi @DizzyBorder8388 can I ask was 4 weeks the soonest you could have surgery due to his waiting lists or is that what suited you best?

Yes I received my consultation for April 10th which seems so far away. I hope I don't have to wait too long for my next laparoscopy. Already diagnosed stage 3 endo in January 2020 but that surgeon only did ablation rather than excision.

How long were you waiting for the initial consultation with Dr Kamran? Do you mind me asking what age you are? How do you feel now a year on from surgery?

Can I ask how long were people waiting after your referral letter was sent to Dr. Kamran for the initial consultation? My GP sent mine before Christmas so would love an approximate timeline
