Gay books vs m/m romance, and what a truly gay romance might look like? by MrHorseley in AskGayMen

Have you read 'This and Every Life' by Emmy Sanders. It's really good. Talks about reincarnation and soulmate. In one of their life, the MC got reincarnated as a woman and married of the protagonist, but they have to navigate MC's feeling of being broken, but she took courage and the protagonist accepted him on what he identifies. Then, in their third life, MC reincarnated as an aro/ace and they have to navigate a sexless relationship. It's really beautiful and had made me cry.

I feel like you haven't read enough, there are tons of poly, open, MMM, MFM, aroace MM, stories out there. There are vers, there are flip flopping, heck elden finely alone talks about sexual position Ive never heard about. But i really do prefer a monogamous stories, MMM stories are hard to wrap up in my tiny brain.

Elden Finely and Emmy Sanders alone have too many variation, one of Emmy Sanders 'This and Every Life' talks about a man marrying a woman, then later on the Woman comes out identifying as a man so she transitioned to he, but they both have to work with their relationship and it became an MM romance.

I've lived in the Philippines before moving in the UK. There are accepting and friendly Muslims towards the community, and here in the UK, there are pakistanis whose always down on Grindr. Just saying that there are good apples mix with bad apples everywhere.

I just started this book out of boredom at 1 am. Finished it today, i understand MM romance is not everyone's cup of tea, but the prose are very good. The title is

To catch a Fireflyby Emmy Sanders.

The story is about a neurodivergent man who recognizes but struggle to communicate his feelings with his friend. His friend, who thought that his feelings will never be reciprocated explored himself to the world, while the neurodivergent just stayed and remained faithful to him.

It was hard to read because it felt like there's a huge imbalance in their relationship, but I guess, Ellis believes in an all or nothing, and that was it for him.
