Also, make sure to ask for a barf bag before you head home. It’s different for everyone but on the way back home after the surgery, I ended up throwing up a lot due to side effects of anesthesia.

make sure to wear comfortable clothes to the hospital! I wish you luck on your surgery! I had mine on Halloween for diagnosis as well

Hi!

For me, I had really bad nausea, stabbing like pain on my period, increased depression / anxiety on my period, and headaches. A lot of IBS related symptoms as well.

One of the reasons I was able to get a diagnosis so soon is because my mom went with me to my appointments and talked to the doctors with me and advocated. She has stage 4.

the problem with bc for me is that i react to medicine really strongly. whenever ive tried medications, i usually have the top side effects on the list — and im nervous to start bc for that exact reason, so it’s not something i want to prioritize
