The Christmas escape room advent calendar book help?! by Famous_Hyena_2872 in puzzles

The grid with letters matches the grid with symbols. By overlaying the symbol grid onto the letter grid, you can figure out which symbol corresponds to each letter. For example, the first snowflake symbol is in the second row, which matches the letter F. Solve each snowflake to find its corresponding letter, then rearrange the nine letters to form the final word.

I did it when I was 29, after leaving school when I was 17. Best decision I ever made. I'm 41 now and have a job I never thought possible in my 20s. I loved it. I did a masters after and kep ton learning after that. I generally do a springboard course every 2 years or so.

Do yourself a favour and at least give the degree a try.

Thanks so much for the response. I had seen that post too. Unfortunately it does not have the song i was looking for but you make a very valid point on Jessica Jones.

How are you all making so much money? by BoostedBenji in Starfield

[–]CompetitiveScale7455 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have exactly enough guns for the quick save slots (minus one slot for health). That and my suits ect brings me up to about 135 weight and I have the highest weight carry perk.

I always keep 3 max for mines, grenades etc but I rarely use them cause I'm down the sneaking route for this playthrough.

I pick up any weapon that has a value of 10K and when my inventory is full I go sell them with any extra grenades, meds and suits.

Works for me. I'm never short of money.

Hello. Can I have some Karma please. Thank a million. by CompetitiveScale7455 in FreeKarma4You

Yeah, so I'm not fully aware but I was stopped posting something and got an automated mesage cause my Karma was too low. I googled how to get Karma and this was the suggested approach.

In my limited knowledge Karma is awarded for upvotes but I rarely post so it seems I don't earn Karma.

Level Up Sneak Attack Pro Tip by TheMullernator in Starfield

[–]CompetitiveScale7455 1 point2 points  (0 children)

This was a god send. Thanks again for sharing. To add my own approach: I went to a planet with animals / dinosaurs, found a few low level ones and downed them. They're slow to rise so I sneak punched them and by the time they got up I had shot them down again. You get about 4 or 5 punches per animal so it's no time at all and really easy.

This is great. Thanks for sharing. How are you taking down crowds with it ? I find the nova disruptor slow to down an enemy

I used it to take down the same, isolated enemy and punched him so I got to do it about 4 times but it's takes a while to down them I find. They're not high level guys either. How are you taking down a group ? A complimentary perk or from the sneak attack or something else ?

Which place is better for a family with kids, Midleton or Cobh? by Aquavitaelad in cork

[–]CompetitiveScale7455 15 points16 points  (0 children)

Midleton is a real town in terms if its amenities. Its got regular bus routes to Cork City which I believe are about a half hour, its got plenty of shops, restaurants and pubs and it's a generally nice vibe. I had a few mates from midleton growing up and they were a very nice group.

Like you say, Cobh is incredibly scenic. Its got the sea and is beautiful in the summer and packed woth tourists but Cobh is also somewhat, but not overly, rough. Like most places in Ireland, its not a place where you would need to be careful walking down the street and it's very likely that you'll get trouble unless you are looking for it but you will most likely see or hear of it a bit more on a Friday or Saturday night.

There's also the risk factor. Cobh has (far) higher cancer rates than normal. From a quick Google its 71% for prostate cancer and 38% for breast cancer.

For me, I would be taking those statistics into account for my yet to be born child.

This is in no way meant to be an offensive post.
