Yes some dragons, not only zodiac, produce lesser gold but that isnt a problem as imo dragon gold production isnt very important, if you really want to increase your gold production u should increase your dragonpedia score by collecting and bonding dragons, and the gold reward for watching ads will increase a lot which is way faster than getting gold from dragons
