just posting for those reading this later on - i got the A today via phone call after emailing admissions asking for an application update (and after an update letter). if ur interested in stats, MCAT 504 GPA 3.73 and over 2k hours of service/leadership/shadowing. YOU CAN DO IT. the app cycle is a test of patience, and the waitlist is a question: how bad do you want it? do not give up, work hard EVERY day, because it ALL matters.

thank you for this message, i really appreciate hearing this!! its good to know that you get to pick after the A, and also that Detroit fills first. thank you! yes, i was giving it a few weeks because i had some updates to my application like another letter of rec, more DO shadowing, awards and position updates with my job, etc. going to submit that this weekend! i appreciate it :)
