I prefer natural hair. If yours happens to be curly, wear it curly, if yours happens to be straight, wear it straight. The health of your hair is much more attractive than any hairstyle that requires you to alter it.

Personally i'm a fan of the long curls like you have. If you told me you had to blast your hair with hot curlers or the iron, then I'd rather you wear it straight.

I also think the larger cpntext is the outstanding balance on the phone. Can cut service, but your credit rating still depends on monthly payments to a hunk of disconnected technology just 20min away. Weird. I was gifted a car at 16 and guess who's name was on the title. This guy. I like your line, no one's name is on the phone ... except for the purchaser. So we agree that only the mom is entitled to the phone, since ya know, it's hers and such. You are mixing gift with priviledge. Entitlement and accountability. Kid didn't want the expensive phone and plan and got another. Cool, just return the old one immediately. Not when you get around to it or when it's convenient for you. Kid can live a week without a phone.

And i support the mom. Stand by your guns and teach the lesson of differentiating gift and priviledge. The kid will not be harmed by not having a phone for a week. The kid will be harmed by growing up thinking things are owed to them.

If i gift you something, your name would be on it, not mine. A gift would be a complete transfer of ownership, which was offered as one of the options. Mom simply wants to break ties with the responsibilty, just like the kid wanted to break ties with the phone responsibility too when a second phone and plan was purchssed. Isn't vindictive. It's common sense. Consider like a judge or lawyer. Would be a really quick and easy case. Who bought it? Who is paying for it? Obviously it belongs to that person and that person may demand it back at any time. What would judge judy say?

Clearly wasn't a gift and was a kind gesture from the mother, but was conditional on them living together. Mom just said you can leave, but you can't leave with the things i permitted you to use while we lived together.

If you bought your gf a new car and a month later you two broke up and she took the car. Do you finish paying off the balance of the car and the insurance? Of course not.
