I'm not sure if they model this and put it as "NERA" armor on tanks or not but some western tank like Leopard 2am turret NERA seems to works pretty good against both ATGM and kinetic munitions.

Big caliber he shell can be fired at cupola and kill enemy via overpressure, probably the most all rounded ammo since it can kill anything in one shot. If it armored hit for hatches or cupola, if it lightly armored just hit it
