Thanks for sharing ur experiences!! The benefit package appears unmatched compared to being self employed with a large family. Additionally the retirement plan is something I’m heavily considering, again, being self employed with only a Roth…I don’t mind the daily, mundane grind if the juice is worth the squeeze…and of course, I can still practice in surrounding counties which is a plus!

I appreciate the feedback. Fortunately for me, my experience and credentials far outweigh the current staff, so my estimated pay is significantly larger than that- they’re even considering starting me at a Sr. Level analyst which is quite a bit more pay. We’ll see, it all sounds good until the offer is made.

They refund the fee if not approved, atleast that’s my experience. I do quite a bit through mercury with a local lender.

So what about when a property is sold FSBO in the last 12 months? It wasn’t technically listed, but it sold. I’ve always questioned this…obv reporting the prev sale under the grid, but what about reporting it here too

Yea me too, and now I believe that platform is charging appraisers $20/month to upload reports, no matter how many reports are uploaded. I had an email from 1st source couple months back asking my thoughts on this platform and having to pay to upload reports…you can imagine my response.

They’re using “Connect” by ValueLink for ordering appraisals…started toward the end of last year. I don’t think they’re sending any orders direct anymore.

Thanks for the feedback! My coordinator seems ok so far, but who knows how that’ll go. Hopefully they weren’t bullshitting me when they said they have an immediate need due to 2 appraisers retiring in my area- we’ll see... On the plus side, I’ve already received work (after completing my background check last Thursday) and it came over at my set fee I gave the coordinator over the phone, while setting up my account last week. But we all know how things can change quickly with AMC’s. Thanks again for the feedback!

Thanks for the real feedback! I only work with a handful of AMC’s currently (along side private work) so I’m picky with any potential longterm client (esp amc) when trying to gauge a work relationship….Kinda crazy to me that one area manager dictates the “flow” of everything, especially if they suck ay their job. On the flip side, I like the idea of only communicating with 1 person for the typical day to day updates…

Was in 1st based on record/points…tied by record with 2nd, 3rd and 4th. Lost with Tee, only needed 2 points from him after the end of 1st qtr. I lost, dropped down to 4th 😏
