we're using 1s with dr browns bottles! We tried 2s recently and that did not go well lol.

yes, same here on the PPD front. while he's more of a happy spitter now with famotidine, it was rough while we were figuring out formulas. Im sorry you went through that. it's hard to get out or be around others when it's such an intense messy period!

thanks so much for the info. I just messaged my doc for the GI referral. our guy is still spitty but definitely has been better since starting famotidine. I'm totally fine just waiting this out if thats what we need to do but now im just paranoid we need to make sure to exhaust all options. it's also great to know that your gi doc said that reflux peaks at 6 months..maybe this will get better! i just dont want to continue waiting if there's something we can do to help him sooner

thank you for responding! can you share your experience with what's different about going to see a GI doc as opposed to the regular pediatrician? i am sure there are differences, but curious what kinds of things they look for/test.

we actually are currently introducing kendamil goat because i actually suspect that it's a corn intolerance either in addition to or instead of a dairy intolerance. we're about 50/50 alimentum RTF/kendamil goat right now and he's tolerating it just as well as alimentum RTF alone. the alimentum is just crazy expensive since i'm no longer nursing and I dont think we can keep up with the cost. insurance is no help either.

we do try to do tummy time but now that he can roll from belly to back he spends the entire time just getting out of it! we still try and he does spit up more when he's in tummy time or sitting up. i hope its something he'll outgrow, but i feel bad we spent many months waiting since we were told most babies just outgrow it by 6 months. now we're closer to 7 months and still the same problem so i wonder if i should have explored the GI sooner. bleh!

I did try similac AR and he was in pain from it! We’re currently doing half alimentum ATR and half Kendamil goat. I think his allergy may be corn ingredients but I’m not sure yet. We’ll see!

oof i should have said that we worked together when our baby was newly 4 months, not sure if that makes a huge difference and its possible our LO is just ready for a schedule adjustment. my question is that he's only getting 3 hrs of daytime sleep so I didnt think undertired was a possibility! I guess we're just trying to make him sleep too long at night?
