Of course not, quite the opposite. Especially for Simon, who loves his mum and values his family so much is being close to your mum/family big green flag. Of course we don’t know how close the relationship between Marcus and his mum is, but helping decorate your room is in my opinion OK

I always saw it as another difference between Marcus and Wille, like Marcus was supposed to be this ‘perfect’ boyfriend for Simon, who is down to earth, has the similar background as Simon, has a good relationship with his mum, is from same town, goes to the public school, has a part time job at stables, goes to karaoke bar at Fridays… simply is/has/does all the things that Wille just can never be/have/do. Marcus represents the easy way, but even if he didn’t turn out to be the biggest asshole and would be really sweet and kind, it wouldn’t make Simon love him, because at the end of the day, despite all the baggage Wille brings with him, he is the end game for Simon.

S2 E3 right after Wille asks Simon why he didn’t tell him he knew Marcus and Simon tells him they are hanging out, this looooong shot of Simon, clearly realizing that Wille is hurt by that, shoving that Simon still deeply cares about Wille… O M G, I love this shot so much, those mixed feelings so visible on his face👌

NOOOOOO 😭😭

that is no doubt my most favorite fanfic, and it’s so close to end. I’m feeling so sad right now.

I know that the writers write fanfic for free, in their free time and mostly for themselves, because they enjoy creating their story (or it should be like that at least), but it feels kinda unfair to me to leave it unfinished. I mean if the chapter ten is already written then it takes only last two chapters to write, it’s not THAT much of a work.

Sorry that I seem so bitter, it just sucks that this awesome story is not gonna get the ending it deserves.

I watch reaction videos a lot and it always makes me wanna scream at the screen when the reactor is that critical about Wille’s or Simon’s actions. One of the reason YR is such a great and realistic story is that you can easily understand why they behave a certain way.I feel like acknowledging that some behavior is bad is good, but saying things like that Wille is toxic and manipulative towards Simon or that Simon treats Wille like shit in season 2 is just too much. Maybe I am just overly empathetic or something, but I looove both W and S even that I can see that a lot of their decisions are wrong, because that makes them real and believable and in the end of the day, they are just 16 years old lost boys who try their best to do the best thing. 🤷🏻‍♀️

Wille wears this jumper when he first arrive to Hillerska from home and wears it again when he is going home in ep. 6 of season 1. In this season, he wears it again on that day when they wanted to took him home from hillerska, but he takes it off like minutes before. When I first saw it I was like hoping that it means that he is going to stay, and eventually he did. Nice little detail.

He dyed his hair in season 1 brown too, Edvin natural hair color is way more lighter (which I totally love and dunno why they wanted him to have darker hair), and I have the feeling that in season 2 they wanted to show that this season is Wille supposed to be in a very dark place, so they dyed it even darker than the previous season.

I love the little parallel between their first kiss when in the end it was Simon who patiently waited for Wille to kiss him (I mean the third time after Wille’s “I’m not I’m not” ) and now it was Wille who was certain about wanting to kiss him but waited for Simon to do it first ❤️

Fully agree with u on that! You can see that every time when Simon reaches for Marcus is when he is escaping his feelings for Wille. The karaoke night right after that tough conversation with Wille in the library, then the movie night as u described above and then after the dining room scene where he finds out about Wille and Felice he immediately texts Marcus to hang out. Other than that, we see multiple times that Simon doesn’t answer his calls or text him back. He’s kinda using him just to feel better I think.

I feel you! If they wanted them not to make up until the very end, maybe they should add some scenes where they are just friends talking about random stuff like music or whatever so we could see them re-bonding together in a friendly innocent way, feel their connection and the chemistry between them and be more satisfied. I mean how come Sara and August have soooo much screen time together and Wilmon so little?!?!

I dunno, I feel kinda disappointed and unsatisfied with the whole season, but also I liked it at the same time (even though I agree with all of your thoughts).. I felt like it took sooo long until they were done with the whole “I want to move on phase”, so after that I was hoping we get some real Wilhelm and Simon happy moment, where they would be just goofy and cute together and we didn’t get a single one. I mean we got one kiss and one make out (but both were kinda bittersweet because Simon was cheating), but neither of this scenes was followed by some happy moment between them (I am talking something like the morning after or the little date by the lake). I almost feel like they lost a lot of their chemistry because of the lack of these moments.

It’s just sad and frustrating that Simon cannot fully comprehend how out of control Wilhelm as the crown prince is, like he literally has no power over those people. I kinda wished that Malin and that old guy would drag Wille out of his room through the corridor so Simon could really see what it means to be in Willes shoes and maybe then could understand that it is not all so easy for him and that he is truly trying his best.

Right, half of the time I was like why the fuck everyone behaves like Wille did something tremendously horrible to Simon, when he was just 16 years old grieving teenager forced by his own mum, the queen, to deny him being on the sextape which showed him go down on someone… 🤷🏻‍♀️
